Lip Smackers TSUM TSUM Lip Balms!

I recently spotted these adorble TSUM TSUM Lipsmackers lip balms at my local Walmart. These are located in the toy section so you probably won't see them with the other lip smackers in the beauty aisles. So far it seems like Lip Smackers has four different characters and scents which include

+ Winnie The Pooh in the flavor Honey Pot
+ Mickey Mouse in the flavor Marshmallow Pop
+ Minnie Mouse in the flavor Strawberry Lollipop
+ Stitch in the flavor Blueberry Wave

My first trip to Walmart I picked up Winnie the Pooh as the Honey Pot flavor really intrigued me over the other more regular sounding flavors. These are $5.50 through the Lip Smackers website but are only $4.35 at Walmart. The second trip I picked up the Mickey Mouse Marshmallow Pop flavor. During my second trip I noticed a big difference in the display. These are pretty popular right now and the selection was really getting limited. If they still have the other two flavors next time I will probably pick them up.

These lip balms are in super cute chunky containers, to get to the lip balm you simply twist the bottom off and the lip balm comes out in a little rounded egg like sphere. The lip balms compared to their containers are small but the lip balms themselves are very nice. True to scent, and very moisturizing. I am a huge Lip Smackers fan so when I seen these I just had to try a few. I hope that Lip Smackers continues to make these in other characters and more flavors. I'd personally like to see Dumbo with a flavor of Funnel Cake and The White Rabbit as a flavor of Carrot Cake lol can you tell I love food-y flavors?

Each of the Tsum Tsum lip balms can be stacked atop each other which makes for a very cute display. I love when products can serve more than one purpose! A lip balm and a cute toy that can be displayed? yes! Overall I would definitely recommend these. Have you tried any yet? What did you think of them? Let me know in the comments section!

I recently placed a large order from Moon's Harvest Bath & Body Shop I really love trying out new bath products and since Lush did not come out with much for Valentine's Day I purchased a bunch of Valentine's Day themed bath products from Moon's Harvest. It was my first order and I am HOOKED. Everything looks good enough to eat and smells divine. Their products are very inexpensive and are much larger than most Lush bath bombs.

Check out my demo of the Delectable Diva Bath Bomb!

I mentioned in my last haul video on YouTube (xpurr) that they send samples with your order and that I would not be doing demo's of the samples but would probably showcase them somehow on my blog so here is my first sample bath melt I chose to try last night

This was a nice sized chunk of sample! I got a full bath out of it! I'm sure the water would have been much more vibrant had it been full size, but for a sample it was a perfect way to test out. This was called the Double Kissed bath melt and it was a pink, white, and purple swirled bath melt. I simply ran it under hot water and let it dissolve and melt. It has a pleasant sweet & fruity smell.

It left my water a pale pink with a slight purple undertone. Very girly! There was a bit of frothy bubbles on the surface of the water as my tub filled up. The scent lingered on my skin faintly afterwards. I was very pleased with this sample and can't wait to try out my other samples. Be sure to check my YouTube channel for demo's of full sized products!

My best friend and I LOVE going to high teas at different tea rooms around the area where we live. We are pretty fortunate that there are a lot of different tea rooms to choose from and quite a few of them are ranked very high on the Teamap website. One of our favorites is ranked #1 on Teamap and the other ranked #3 we like going at least once a month and make every outing a chance to try a new one close by. We decided to try out one that is ranked fairly low on the Teamap website but we assumed it might just be because not a lot of people had been there or left reviews. I am not going to mention the name of the tea room because the ladies who ran it were incredibly sweet and nice but our main course meal was not pleasant and I hate to talk bad about a business but the story is just too funny not to share! The initial arrival was fantastic, we were greeted by a dog outside on the way in (I am a HUGE animal lover) so I was already smiling about that. The tea room itself was at a great location, very easy to find on a busy stretch of road. Inside was decorated very nicely, beautiful place settings and lots of neat and interesting things to look at while sitting there. We had just had a blizzard so the place was empty aside from myself and two of my friends. The women who ran the tea room were a mother/daughter and as I said they were as sweet as pie, very friendly and chatty. The neat thing about this tea room was that you could be served an actual meal not just the traditional scone/soup/finger sandwich combo that most tea rooms provide. Myself and both of my friends all chose the crab cake meal. Also, unlike some other tea rooms I have been at, this one provided not only two types of tea at once but also a glass of water and a goblet (yes a goblet, they were so neat!) of what I can only describe as some sort of fruit juice. Our first course was a fruit salad that consisted of pineapple, banana, orange, shredded coconut and I'm sure a few other fruits which was yummy.

Our second course was the salad with the house dressing which was fantastic, the dressing was extremely good and I was thinking how great this tea room was and how I didn't understand why it would be ranked low.

Our next course was our scone and bread plate, I cannot remember each flavor but some were better than others, again still very pleased with everything though I wish the plate had come with a larger helping of the clotted cream as I really had to section out how much of each piece of scone got some cream.

Next was a choice of soup and we all chose the clam chowder. My favorite thing about going to teas is that I get to try new foods that I've never had before and this was one of them. I until that point had never had clam chowder. The broth was great, but I wasn't a fan of the clams. I don't think it had anything to do with the tea room I just found out that I am not a big fan of clam chowder.

Around this time of drinking so much tea I felt the need to use the restroom. I got up to go and had to walk down a hallway near the kitchen area and as I was walking back to the bathroom I was hit hard by what I can only describe as a foul stench of oceanic rot. I kind of figured okay, maybe something had gone bad since I was nearer to the kitchen and I just got a whiff of it. So I walk back out to the main dining area but the smell is still kind of hanging in the air now, I go to sit back down and I can't help but to tell my friends how horrible something smells back there. One friend gets up to use the restroom next and by this time the stench had definitely reached the dining room area and we are all wondering what in the actual hell kind of rot stench are we smelling? Shortly after, here come our plates of crab cakes.

Oh god, our plates of crab cakes. Our crab cakes REEK of this exact rotten dead sea smell. I was holding in my need to vomit so hard. Every breath I took through my nose I was that much closer to spewing my fruit/tea/salad/scone/clam chowder mixture onto this plate of reeky crab cakes. I could not even bear to bring the fork up to my mouth to even taste one. My one friend   somehow (I don't know how Jess!) she mustered it down, but my other friend was in the same boat as me. There were also steamed broccoli and mashed cauliflowers on the plate and I tried to get down some bites of broccoli (the pieces not touching crab cake that is) but I just couldn't. We resorted to breaking up the crab cakes (oh my god horrible idea, the instant my fork cut through it was another assault on my nostrils) We tried to push the food around and make it look like we ate some (yes, the tactics you used in elementary school to make it look like you ate enough food to be allowed to go out to the playground! unfortunately we had no milk cartons to shovel evidence in) At this point I'm frantically looking around the room for a place I can secretly discard my food. I know it all sounds crazy but it's not polite to not finish your food and we don't have the heart to say when something is not good but seafood should never ever ever smell like these crab cakes did. The older lady comes out and asks how we are doing and notices that my friend and I still have very full plates so being as kind as she was she told us she'd give us more time to finish. The inward groaning of nooooo! this can't be happening was playing over in my mind. My only wish at that point was to breathe fresh air. I began searching through my pockets for tissue or something to conceal some of this rotten crab cake and found a doggy waste bag from that morning's walk with my dog who never went #2 I debated long and hard about scooping it all up and putting it in there but then what? what do I do after I have a dog poop bag full of rotten crab cake? there was no trash can, I couldn't carry it back to the bathroom and flush it and if I could get it back there what if I clogged the toilet? I couldn't bear to shove it in my purse and have to continue smelling it the whole way home. Eventually the lady came back out, seen our food still wasn't eaten and we lied to her face saying we were just full from everything else and we were having a hard time finishing. She asks if we'd like a doggie bag to take home and I'm sitting there all wide eyed like 'how did she know' omg no we cannot take this home 'no thank you!' was all we could muster. Our last course was dessert and I chose the cherry pie and quite frankly it was pretty good so at least it all ended on a good note.

We were not charged full price for our meals so either because we didn't eat them or maybe she even realized how bad they smelled and could have quite possibly served us rotten crabs I don't know. Aside from the crab cake fiasco overall it wasn't so bad but it was no where even close to some of the other tea rooms I've been to so I will keep going back to the ones I know and love and wish the best for this mother/daughter and their tea room.

LUSH ERROR 404 BATH BOMB Behind The Scenes!

I recently purchased this Lush bath bomb called Error 404 on eBay for $18 It is no longer sold so I know I spent more than what I'm sure the original asking price was. (I heard these were at one point FREE!) The Error 404 bath bomb scent is described as a "Floral-Geranium, Rosewood, Orange flower, & gardenia" Upon first inspection it reminded me a lot of the Golden Egg bath bomb, same shape and same gold glitter exterior.

This is the setup I have rigged when making a bath bomb demo for my youtube channel. I sometimes can't believe how many comments I get from people either accusing me of wasting water or asking me why I don't get in the tub. I'm assuming they aren't thinking clearly when they say such things. I don't obviously record my video while sitting in the tub because one you'd get a helluva crotch shot that would only be able to be viewed on a porno site and also because my water would be freezing cold before I actually got a chance to enjoy it. I fill the tub up not even halfway before I start filming. Then after all the lights are cleared back out I turn the water back on and then enjoy my bath. No water is being wasted, nor product. Which brings me to another question I get asked a lot and that is why I put in the entire bath bomb, or bubble bar. I like to do my demos all out. Showing what the water will look like/the experience will be if you would choose to use all of the product. I am aware I could get more uses out of the products, I just choose to use all at once.

Last question I get asked a lot is "what's that thing in your tub?" It is what I use to get the underwater shots for my demos. It is a Sony - AS100 HD Action Cam with waterproof casing. I hope this post maybe cleared up some questions I get asked a lot. Let me know if you have others!

Walmart Summer 2015 Beauty Box

It seems like every company out right now has their own subscription based box. I would go broke if I even tried to attempt getting a subscription to even more than a handful so I try to pick what I think is the best offer to try out new products. Walmart has their own form of beauty box which costs just $5 you get four boxes throughout the year Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter. I wish this was a monthly box but for $5 you really do get a good selection of products to try out.

High Tea!

One thing I enjoy doing is going to a high tea! I just discovered high teas and tea rooms in general earlier this year. I've never been a huge hot tea drinker (I've always preferred iced) I quickly found out though that tea rooms aren't just about tea! High teas are served in courses along with usually a soup or salad, finger sandwiches, and of course dessert. Going to these high teas have introduced me to all kinds of foods I had never had before. My best friend and I have made it a point to visit a new tea room each month. The one I'll be sharing in this post was our 5th tea! We made a trip to Fredrick Maryland to have high tea at the Serenity tea room.

I had never been to Fredrick before and it was a super cute town! There were a ton of neat little eccentric shops with lots of locally made products for sale. I purchased a few things which I'm sure will be in an upcoming YouTube video! There was one shop I just oooh'd and ahhh'd over the display window but unfortunately they were not open so I couldn't go inside. I was so intrigued though by the shop window, so many cool things it just screamed my name. I will have to get back there sometime to visit.

The high tea was fine, it wasn't my favorite out of the the other 4 I've been to but I'm always thrilled to try out different places because each place I go to does things in a different way or offers things the others don't. This particular tea room had a TON of teas, you name it they had it. You could get the traditional hot tea or you could get it iced. I also liked how each person got their own little pot, usually at teas you share a pot with the table but this way you got to choose your tea and it was unlimited. As long as you finished your pot you could have as many kinds of tea as you wanted. Our first course was the soup and this was a new one for me because it was a COLD soup. I had never had a cold soup before! The choices were cucumber or strawberry and I chose strawberry

See how cute the little personal teapots are? The strawberry soup was good but to me it was just like eating a strawberry smoothie but with a spoon. Good, but not amazing. At other teas they would serve each course separate but here they brought everything out at once on a three tiered tray.

So pretty! So at the bottom tray were the finger sandwiches (cucumber, roast beef, egg salad, etc) these were all decent but not anything that had my taste buds going crazy. The middle tray was our scones (we chose strawberry) it tasted good (like frankenberry cereal which was kinda weird) but still decent flavored. However they were super dooper thick more like a biscuit then most of the scones I've eaten before. There was also a tea bread on this platter. The last tray was the dessert tray which featured two of the same fruit tarts one with a passionfruit filling the other was I believe cream cheese. Two little cookies and a chocolate covered strawberry. It cost $30.95 (tax and tip not included in that amount) I'm used to paying around $25-ish for the high teas I've been too previously so this one was kind of steep and my least favorite. If you are in the area though they do offer a cheaper afternoon tea at $25.95 or a more expensive royal tea at $38.95 Not sure where we are going for our tea in July but I'm excited!
